Why do you need a motorbike check?

Purchasing a motorcycle is a dangerous business, and you don't want any unpleasant surprises down the road. If you're buying a used bike, the hazards are even larger.

Like most people, you undoubtedly want to know that the bike's price is reasonable and that there are no hidden costs. Like most people, you undoubtedly want to know that the bike's price is reasonable and that there are no hidden costs. You've definitely seen several Facebook groups where people discuss stolen bike information: unfortunately, bike theft is rampant in the United Kingdom.

Furthermore, the police may no longer be interested - we've heard of officers failing to show up to search for clues after a bike has been reported stolen. It's unlikely that you'll obtain your back bike.Overall, it appears that purchasing a bicycle in the United Kingdom today is a high-risk endeavour. You probably just want to play with your new toy without worrying about it being stolen.

Van Check FAQ's

Purchasing a motorcycle is often less expensive than purchasing a car, as you are surely aware. That isn't to say that everyone pays cash for their ideal car! According to the most recent figures, roughly two-thirds of all new bikes are acquired with some form of financing.

Some of the bike theft numbers are quite disturbing. We all know someone who has had at least one, if not numerous, bicycles stolen. It's still very easy to pinch a motorcycle, whether it's from your safe garage at night or from the petrol forecourt when you're paying the cashier.

Buying a stolen bike is dangerous; the worst-case situation is that the motorcycle will be seized and you will not receive a refund. You might try to sue the vendor to recoup the charges, but be advised that there is very little legal recourse if you bought it from a private seller in the UK. You may have some alternatives if you acquired it from a registered trader, but it will be a complete pain and a waste of time.

As a result, approaching the transaction with both eyes open is essential. Spending a few thousand pounds on a motorcycle without first examining its history isn't the best idea, especially when a thorough bike inspection costs only £8.99 from Car Reg Checks.

Although we are known as CAR Reg Checks, we can also inspect any bike, moped, or scooter. We can tell you anything about your motorcycle's history as long as it's registered in the United Kingdom. Some of the information we provide is not free, but most of it is.

A financial check or an import/export check, for example, are never free because vendors must pay the DVLA to access this information. As a result, be sceptical of any organisation that claims to provide entirely free, comprehensive motorcycle background checks — they are almost certainly lying!

If you want a more thorough investigation, we can verify the vehicle's history for you for only £8.99. That involves looking for things like unpaid debts, stolen property, write-off histories, cancelled checks, and more.

Hundreds of happy customers.

As a community we bring you a vehicle history check you can trust and it's provided by Car Reg Checks!
